Sledge the film.
I don't think a new season will work...but a film would.
David, Anne-Marrie and Harrision all still look great, even almost 20 years later.
It would be great to have all the old cast back for a film. I know a film was rumored a good while back, and that film was eventually turned into Loaded Weapon.
It's a shame the series died...not due to poor ratings, bad scripts (which they were not), ect. But cos the network kept messing around with the show.
The DVDs are more than welcome for me. I'm from England and over here the show was put on in the small hours (around 2-3 AM). Even as a kid I would stay up until then to watch this show. Plus it never got shown after the 80s...so I've had to wait 20 years for this. Now I have the DVDs, I can watch Sledge whenever I like, and a film would top of the Sledge collection a treat.
Get writting Mr Spencer, bring back Sledge on the big screen. Let him have a real farewell...without the networks screwing you around.
Just think of the freedom Sledge could have on the screen.
Imagine there's no heaven.
It's easy if you try.
