Earthquake commentary?

In the final episode of the season one DVDs, Alan Spencer's commentary is apparently interrupted by some minor earthquakes and tremors.

But in the final episode of the season two DVDs, Spencer's commentary is interrupted by similar earthquakes and tremors, though it seems pretty apparent that the natural disaster was doctored up and he was using it as a gimmick to avoid answering the question about Sledge proposing to Doreau. Which was pretty funny.

But that left me wondering. Does that mean the first set of tremors from his season one commentary was fake too? That seems like an almost overly elaborate joke...I mean, it spans two SEASONS of DVDs.

Or maybe the season one tremors were real, which inspired him to make the cop out gag for his season two commentary? Or maybe his commentary really was cursed?

Just wondering if anyone out there definitively knows which, if any, of the earthquakes were faked or were real.

Sure, I definitely do. If you had half a brain you could figure it out... and if you had a full brain, you'd be pondering much more important stuff and wouldn't even care.

Fellas, that just may be the real Alan Spencer. Take a look at his registration date. It says March 2000! This was clearly not some guy who just registered under a fake name to pull that prank. (Unless he's really, really, really patient.)

But only made 1 post in 5 years?

Maybe it was someone else using the name and not THE Mr.Spencer. Anyone can start an account with any name...belive it or not, I'm not really a New York cop from a series of action films...or am I?
Though it would be pretty damn sweet if it were the man himself.

As for the earthquake query. What if all the commentary was recordered on the SAME day?

I think it's pretty obvious that the quake on season 2 is a set up. Bad acting aside, it was a fairy funny joke. As for the quake on season 1...why would it be a set up? Unless they were recorded on the same day.

But regarding the end of season 2.
Sledge and Dori would not have gotten togehter...why?

Well season 2 was set 5 years BEFORE season 1. Which brings up a major proplem. In season 1 Slegde meets Dori for the first time, but if season 2 was set before 1...then how could they have met for the first time in season 1?
They were working together for 5 years BEFORE they first met.

So if they had got together at the end of season 2, then why did they not know each other at the start of season 1?

alan does occasionally make comments on the official Sledge Hammer forum. As to whether he'd start a profile on here just to insult fans, go figure!
