Taxi Driver (1976)
I was recently given a DVD-R of the first 4 shows!
Nervously Siskel & Ebert review "Rocky" (1976) and ..... Taxi Driver.
The both liked it but Gene was repulsed by the violence at the end.....he almost could not give it a thumbs-up.He felt it was too excessive and uncalled for.
Can you imagine anyone saying that today ? After all the Tarantino movies AND copies there of ?
