Isn't cousin Bartok played by Bronson Pincho?
How did they do it because Bartok and Balki are in the same scene.

Cousin Bartok only appears in season 5, #13, Because They're Cousins.

Double screening I believe it was called. When cutting the negative another would be placed over it to create the illusion of one person being two. (Or something like that). Of course now it would be done with green screens.

It's called a split screen shot. We still do it all the time...and no, it would not involve a green screen.

This show wasn't shot with film..it was tape...so it would have been an analogue split screen.

Bronson Pinchot also played Balki's mother using the same technique.

Bartok was played by Bronson Pinchot's younger brother, Justin.

The same way they filmed Patty Duke playing two different parts in The Patty Duke Show in the 60's? In the 1980's technology became more advanced , so filming those scene on PS became much easier
