Might just be my poor web-surfing skills, but I was unable to find a Blu-ray DVD of "Witness" offered at the usual online sites. However, I did find one site that indicates that the movie will be available in that format in April, 2014.
Does anyone know about current availability, or whether there is a B-R release of the film due soon? TIA
Don't know where you are, webbdg, but yes, it's been announced on Blu-ray for Region B (UK, Germany, France, and Australia) for various dates from February to April 2014. Also in Japan.
No release announcement yet for Region A (US and Canada).

I'm really hoping that Paramount releases it for its 30th anniversary. There's no reason why this movie shouldn't be on Blu-ray yet.
Same here. I watch it on netflix since it's HD, but I ordered the DVD for the special features and saw how special making this movie was to all the actors, you can tell Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis hold this film near and dear to their hearts.
