is this movie anything like night of the demons? they are by the same director and i saw that and thought it was real funny and a good fun movie so was thinkin maybe this is too?

Well i have seen both of them. I own Night of the Demons, and they are NOTHING alike well in Night of the Demons they want to summon a demon...or evil spirit in a haunted house...and in Witchboard the people just wanted to talk to that little boy.

The difference between the two is because of the writer and producer being different. Kevin Tenney wrote and directed Witchboard, and wrote Night of the Demons 3, the last one in the series. Joe Augustyn wrote and produced Night of the Demons 1 and wrote 2, which are very different from all of Kevin's other films.

They are nothing alike. Witchboard (it's been 20 years since I've seen it) is a good tight scary drama with a tight plot and a very cute actress that keeps her clothes on while Night of the Demons (again if memory serves) is an over-the-top wild gore-fest, shock-fest, sex-fest comedy with a fairly weak plot.
