score
The score is so creepy in this movie..it kinda reminds me of the exorcist. Does anybody know if there's anywhere i can find it?

shareI'm not sure if there is anywhere you can find it. I hooked my VCR up to my stereo back in 1996 and recorded the score onto a tape. Whenever she is having the nightmare, the bass just rumbles the entire house; same goes for whenever the camera is panning through the apartment giving you that ghostly feeling. I saw the theme is performed by "Steel Breeze" and I have no idea what or who that is, so you might check on KaZaA or Limewire, which ever you prefer. The score in this movie is without a doubt the creepiest, scariest and most terrifying I have ever heard. Maybe seeing it at age 6 for the first time ever, back in 1987 had something to do with it. All I know is that if I watch this movie, like I did earlier, someone has to be here with me and I can't watch it at night. I can watch it at night, but then, I don't really pay attention. It also doesn't help that I know every word, sound, screech, score, music, name, scene, insult, laugh, cry, knife, shadow, blooper or whatever in it, either.

I couldn't agree with you more on the score of this movie...it is absolutely creepy! And...it's also very well done! I've looked everywhere for the soundtrack of the movie, and sound clips, but haven't had any luck, either. If I understand correctly the intro song was composed by Dennis Michael Tenney, and a synthesizer was used. If anyone knows where I can get this song, please let me know!
shareyep, it is infact pretty creepy. But you know what is even creepier? are how Tenney's films are freeking so underrated, and this movie would has a 5.0??? WHATT??? this ismore like 6.5 material.
shareu know what the scariest sound in the movie is:
at the very start in the credits when 'witchboard' appears on the screen, the music goes well creepy!
