This would make for an interesting Remake

Hey why not. Amityville just got remade, texas chainsaw, psycho, add to the chain with an interesting subject; the Ouija Board.

This is the kind of subject that can really scare people with the, "what if" " do you dare" theory. Hey anyone can go buy one at the local WalMart, do you dare use it??!!!!

My vote for the female lead (Linda)

Heck why not another washed up EX girfriend of a Rocker?? She's probably looking for work too

If this movie were remade, that would be one of the best moves Hollywood has made in so many years. Pamela as Linda, I'm not sure if I'd go that route. She would have to dye her hair red and Tawny seemed a little taller than Pamela. I'd go with one of the following:

Angelina Jolie
Rachel McAdams
Sherilyn Fenn
Shannen Doherty

I could think of more, but that's enough. You may disagree, but that's who I'd choose from.

you can't buy a ouija board at wal-mart. They won't carry them, there. Wal mart is run by crazy religious nuts. Their CD's are edited. The bible section is just as big as the rest of the book department. EVER NOTICE, EH???

Sure, Doherty, why not, she once stalked Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Close enough for me, plus she's fresh off of scare tactics from the sci fi channel.

Walmart doesnt carry them you are right, go to ebay. But if I was you I'd read up first, they are not to be trifled with if you don't know what you are doing

Here's a reason it shouldn't be remade: most remakes SUCK. I'm tired of Hollywood remaking all my old favorites...Friday the 13th, Halloween, The Stepfather, The Fog, When A Stranger Calls....I could go on. Get an original idea already!!

They should no do a remake. Witchboard is a cult classic and it's best kept that way by not doing a remake of it. As for Walmart, i remember the days when they use to sell ouija boards. It was where i got my first one.

Considering there's been two sequels and one alledged unofficial pseudo-remake slash prequel already (Witchtrap) I'd say, and I'm no fan of remakes, that it couldn't hurt to take the original script and restart the franchise. If done properly there could be all sorts of great movie tie-ins this time around.

Of course there's always the problem of CGI. CGI is the crack of the movie industry. Just look at My Favorite Martian, need I say more?

But if done right we'd could tolerate a remake, especially if it meant Parker Bros would be producing Quija boards based on those in the films. ;)
