But he believes in spirits? HA HA Wrong from the very beginning. Someone who doesn’t believe in God would also not believe in haunting spirits either.

Bull! It is possible to believe in the human spirit and not believe in a higher Entity as well. As a matter of fact, the logic behind it would seem feasible in the matter that more people have seen ghosts then they have any 'god'.

I've met people who believe in ghosts, and don't believe in God.

I've even met people who believe in God, but don't believe in the Devil. That one never made too much sense to me.

He did say at the beginning of the movie that there was tangible evidence for the existence of spirits such as photographs, videos, etc. and that there wasn't evidence for God. That's why he also said it was a spirit of a bad person possessing Linda rather than a demon.
