One of the most underrated horror movies ever?
I love this movie. I think the cool plot and believable characters, make it one of the more underrated horror movies ever.
Rocky VI must happen! Sean Penn said so!

Kitean does alright. Since there are few Ouija movies, you probably were allured by the storyline, but overall its not much better than your typical 80s cheese quasi-horror movie

This is honestly the scariest movie I have ever seen. I was six when I saw it for the first time back in 1987 and to this day, I'm now twenty-four, I still can't watch it by myself.

I agree with you that "Witchboard" is an underrated horror film. It's a nice break from the 80's teen body count slasher norm with good acting (Kathleen Wilhoite in particular is delightfully daffy as eccentric punkette psychic Zarabeth), impressively slick photography, plenty of solid scares, a substantial amount of suspense, and, best of all, genuinely likeable and believable characters who are credibly grounded in everyday reality. I especially liked the strained, yet still strong friendship between Jim and Brandon, which was both quite touching and really refreshing.

Yes it is very underrated. Years ago I watched it and absolutely hated it, but I don't think I gave it a fair chance. Just watched it again and gave it a 10/10.
shareDefinitely underrated. I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it was really solid until the very end when Malfeitor possessed Linda and she was dressed like him. That got a little silly. I wish the ending was more solid. I think if the ending didn't enter the realm of silly, it would easily been considered one of the 80s top horror movies.
shareI think it's correctly rated. It's a pretty routine horror movie, and never manages much suspense.
