I watched this guilty pleasure of my youth once again. Not only was Kelly LeBrock one of the hottest women of the 80s, she has incredible on-screen charisma that only she could bring to Weird Science. This movie would have been just another crappy teen movie from the 80s if some other model babe played Lisa.
One of the sad things about getting older is the sex symbols from your youth are also aging.
I grew up in the 90s and 00s so she wasn't my fantasy or anything. Maybe it is a generation thing but she doesn't seem very hot to me. Her lips look too fake and too large. I thought that the normal girls whom the guys ended up with are both better looking.

Besides being full of charisma and wit, her delivery is effortless and she just seems so at ease. And while the movie DOES have some other memorable things in it, LeBrock easily owns the movie.

Oh, hell yes. Yes, she was ridiculously hot in this movie (that face! those eyes! those lips!), but waaaay beyond that was her charisma. She really tugged it off. Oops, I mean pulled it off.

She’s great but the 80’s did no favours to her looks. The perm makes her resemble Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror, and the 80’s power clothes with shoulder pads diminish her femininity.
Looks great in the shower though.
As for her being ‘the entire movie’… nah, this movie is a symphony of genius, with multiple scene-stealing performances that complement each other. LeBrock is but one big pink cog in the machine.
