Christopher Walken was terrible

his worst performance

reply

I disagree, he was one of the best things about this movie, which was otherwise mediocre.

I agree with you. When Mayday said "What a view!" and Zorin replied "To a kill." I literally cringed.

Zorin is one of my all-time favorite Bond villains, Walken was great.

"Dan Marino should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell. Would you like a cookie son?"

reply

I think he one of if not the best Bond villian.

reply

The only thing that really sucked was his make up. Unless he's supposed to look bisexual or gay, they tried to pull a David Bowie wannabe on him and it didn't work out.

reply

Watch his earlier films, he always looked like that like in Dogs of War, even in Batman Returns and At Close Range, he had a similar look and those films were after this.

reply

WRONG. Zorin is the best Bond villain. A complete maniac who bursts into gut-busting laughter as he machine guns hundreds of his own men, and even laughs at his own death - he's one of the greatest villains ever put to film, and portrayed with buckets of charm by the king of idiosyncratic insanity - the legend that is Christopher Walken. 'Terrible' my ass, get some taste noob.

reply

Walken was suitably manic.

It's that man again!!

reply

Christopher Walken was a really creepy bad guy. I was just waiting for him to suddenly start playing Russian Roulette.

Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night.

reply

Nah. Walken was great in this. His performance actually carries the movie.

reply

It's been many years since I've seen this, but I don't remember the villain as being anything special, and certainly nowhere near the best Bond villains.

reply

Time to rewatch then...
