Bountiful on DVD

Does anyone have any idea when "The Trip to Bountiful" might make the transition from VHS to DVD? I thought maybe the company that distributes the film might wait until the year 2005, as that will be the 20th Anniversary of its release. If anyone has any info. on this classic film going to DVD, please post a reply. Thanks.

On Amazon.com

Hope this helps

I want this to come out on a special edition DVD most of the people
with the exception of Geraldine Page are still alive, so special features arent out of the question.
This was such a compelling movie. I enjoyed it so.

GOOD NEWS!!!!! I got an email from Amazon, it's coming out on DVD around the first of April, can pre order it for around $11. I AM SO GLAD THIS IS FINALLY COMING OUT! This is one of my favorite films, and glad to see others like it as much as I do.

I'm not going to be IGNORED, Dan!

Hey, thanks for the great news, ekentb. I've always loved this film since I saw it on the big screen about 20 years ago. It's April 1st now; I hope the DVD release isn't an April Fool's joke!

And if, judging from your tagline, you also like "Fatal Attraction," your tastes are as diverse as mine.

No, no..."cruelty." I always think that has a nobler ring to it.
