I simply love her performance here, I truly adore it.

But I must admit I am stunned to learn she was only 60 years old when this movie was made?!

She looked at least 75, if not older.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?

Certainly makeup was involved, but she did look older than her years. And sadly, she died a year later.

And Carlin Glynn, who played Jessie Mae, was forty-five but looked much younger.
