And if so, how is the quality?

I'm wondering the same thing. Full Moon just released a 5 DVD set containing Trancers 1-5 on their Australian DVD lable Kangaroo Entertainment. Kangaroo also released the Dollman/Demonic Toys Box Set and the Subspecies Box Set. The Dollman set was good but the Subspecies box set sucked hardcore so I don't trust Kangaroo. If someone says the quality is good I will buy the box set.

I suspect Trancers 1 will simply be the same crummy transfer as before and the the sequels will be laserdisc transfers as well, but at least it's not VHS-sourced.

I just recieved the box set and the Trancers 1 disc contains the same crummy laserdisc transfer the orignal DVD has. The sequels for the most part have decent picture quality that is no better or worse than any other FUll Moom DVD. The DVD set is hardly the "Definitive Collection" but it's worth it for fans of the films.

The Trancers 4 has a glitch. God-Dang full moon entertainment! Is it really that hard to release a box set without glitches?! The Dollman/Demonic Toys box set has audio dropout on the Dollman DVD and I won't even begin talking about the Subspecies box set! Grrrr...

Well, the fact that they used the same crappy laserdisc transfer of T1 proves to me that these discs aren't "made in Australia" as Band fraudulently claims. There is no company in Australia called "Kangaroo Video" and slapping Australian ratings logos on the discs may fool some, but not me. If they were "genuine Australian imports" they would be on sale here in Australia! Oh and those ratings that the box art carries aren't even the correct Aussie classifications! Trancers 1-5 were all rated M, not MA as the box claims.

It's just an audio video glitch when Jack and Lyna are talking in the fourth one. It's not a huge glitch but enough to piss me off. That's why I'm selling em on ebay.
