Theatrical?
Was this movie released in theaters? I know that Empire released many of their other films theatrically, but this one may or may not have been, given it's only an hour and 15 minutes long.
shareIt most certainly was. I lived in L.A. at that time. I was curious about the movie, and I remember looking in the Calendar section of the L.A. Times and seeing that it was in quite a few theaters, on par with any major motion picture release. I also remember seeing a fair degree of TV ads for the film.
