Now really, are you people serious? now, 2010 is a great 80´s scifi, bladerunner is a great 80´s scifi, ALIENS another 80´s good action sci fi.

Now...

Trancers have absolutly nothing in common with either one of the above films at all. Trancers lack everything in every department. It has:

a) A terribly script. Bad clichés, bad lines that drills itself into the minds of the weak and makes them repeat them over and over again till you loose your mind and wants to explode into a cloud of anger and frustration over the demonic acts thats made this film possible.

B)Bad acting ( and yes even helen hunt to) the rest is like patients from a methodon clinic.

c) what the is it with the effects, they are behind with about 40 years, the things that i am most amazed by is that they could afford with color film and a stereo soundtrack.

Ok sure, when i was young around i liked this kind of movies. Not anymore. I am amazed that this film has over 6 stars in its rating. i wouldent wanna know those people who made this come true. scary, sort of like the trancers in the movie. hmm perhaps they are the leftovers from the eightis who actually played the trancers in the movie trancers.

Anyhow, if you want a bad film then dont watch this one, there are no words for its tacky and mindblowing disgust this film will develop. you will feel dirty for days after, its sickening how bad this film really is. dont see it. if you find a copy in the video store, smash it, then burn it, and then bury it.

With that being said dont even think of watching trancers 2, (just pondering my mind on how that got made)

I gather you just don't get this movie :p

Of course everything was bad. B movies are all about bad, not just any old bad but Trancers bad. Everything about this movie was made for it's genre. It did a pretty good job considering the budget was only 600k.

People, that's what B-Movies are about, pure brainless entertainment, if you want clever films go get some Fellini or Kubrick, wich I also love, but every time has its moment.

Trancers is to an afternoon with friends, when it's everybody laying in the sofa or the floor, just fooling around, who is demanding that anyone takes this movie serious??

Trancers is a gem. It's got heart, and its got charm in spades. It was made for a fraction of those films you mentioned. And to those that like Trancers, it feels like it belongs to them.

These films were made because their fun. Though I think 6 was a money thing.

Yes, the 6th one didn't feature Tim so there was no reason to do it.

I don't think anyone was meant to take this film too seriously. You have compared the film to Alien, Aliens and Blade Runner. Alien and Blade Runner were ultra-serious, almost arty, big budget science fiction films. Aliens was a blockbuster action sci-fi film.

Trancers is a whole different thing.
