During the punk rock bar scene where Jack Deth and Leena are dancing the screen goes black as Deth is turning around to fight the punks. I was wondering if all the DVDs were like that or if it is just mine? Anyone? J
"You know what they say about slugs...They always leave slime in their tracks."
It's because that's where the side change was on the laserdisc. Whoever copied it to DVD never even bothered editing it out. (You'll also notice at the absolute end of the film a title card reading END OF SIDE B.)
It's not a disc error, it's actually part of the DVD information itself. They have encoded the laserdisc straight to DVD. And it's the official, non-bootleg Full Moon DVD we're talking about.
The copy I watched last night was disc 1 of the Trancers box set, and it does have that black screen. You'd think they'd edit it out of the BOX SET! :P Seems tacky.
