There was a family friendly version. It was called The Toxic Crusaders. It sucked balls even for a cartoon.

However, now that something of Troma's is getting remade for this generation maybe people will discover Troma if they haven't already.

First Nightmare on Elm Street, now this? Sure the original could use a little work but who else should do it but Lloyd himself?
