On a mission. Found the movie theater today. Looks the same. Too bad it's closed down. Also visited the restaurant "Scully's" which is claimed to be Billy's stonecrab in Tierra Verde. This place has been there over 40 years. I just don't see any similarities here. If it was they said there was a fire back in the 90's. Maybe it changed.

I would like to go to the beach scene location on a crowded day to see how different the people look from the extras that were in the 1984 filming.
It would be tricky to form a comparison between 1984 movie extras, and a random crowd of today. I think you would need to look at the more distant 1984 beachgoer-extras to see a random selection. The closer up extras were probably screened for looks.
