Slightly irritating
Why was dad wearing a hockey jersey to the beach? Women were in bikinis so it had to be hot, plus Florida. This always irritates me when I watch it.

This was more john candy I think. He was a big guy obviously and he probably felt awkward about his weight. Even in the little pool he has a shirt on.
shareWatching it now. Also at the end when it made more sense to use his jersey for more sail he used his pants. Im sure this was candys idea as he was very large in this film. Probably felt funny with a T shirt or tank.
