I really think they need to go back and change movie ratings. This is not PG (well, by todays standards). I mean, I just think that it is very misleading even if it is older. But I guess what was considered family friendly then is not what it is now. Its weird though, some movies back then that had an R rating arent' bad, but some PG's back then would be PG-13 or R today. For example, the Jerk is R, and I think this was worst in some ways.

MPAA claims it was edited from the PG-13 rating.....wonder what was edited?

yeah, maybe some scenes with the mom and John L character or mom naked or mom hooking up with one the with lifeguard. Nudity with next door lady maybe. I thought the mom Sandy was going to cheat on her husband
