Brady's father tells the guy who rallied the angry mob to shut up like he was gonna side with the sheriff. Then he tells the sheriff to dig up his kid and then he goes off about "Private Justice." I also thought it was hilarious how he talks about Private Justice in the priests dream when the priest wasnt even there to here the speech in the bar.

The only other thing that made no sense was the fact that the sheriff didnt believe reds story after half the town saw the werewolf in the woods.

You probably have to put yourself in the shoes of Brady's father being that he was still distraught over his son's murder and people will probably say things that don't make sense to the people hearing them. Also the priest was on the sidewalk trying to discourage the hunters from going out so maybe he overheard the speech from outside the bar. Concerning the werewolf in the woods, it was under the fog the whole time so they didn't actually see it except for its arm. They might have assumed it was just a wild animal.

A lot of things in some movies aren't explained in black and white so you have to make your own assumptions.

Yeah in real life... in movies things are supposed to make sense so that people can follow the plot. It seems that you are just making stuff up to cover some plot holes. Sounds like you are in serious need of some Private Justice!

Actually, he brought up points that do make sense. I figured the hunters thought it was wild animal. That's plausible.

Horror movie always have people doing things that make sense - like going outside to inspect a strange noise they heard.

I agree with billy51482 they brought up points that do make sense.
