Does this suggest that Marty dies?

I've only seen the whole thing once awhile ago so I don't remember what disease Marty has (if any). I just caught the end just now thoug. But the last narration is a little odd at the end. It talks about how "i can finally say I love you, goodbye." That seems an awful lot like a last goodbye. I am not suggesting he died from anything to do with the movie or even near to the time frame of the movie. But it it definitely strange.

Bc the narration was the sister many years later it may very wll be that Marty died. But I always took it that before the wereolf incident they weren't close but became close after.

I agree with what you said elpida18. I think they did become closer after Marty killed the werewolf.

She doesn't say "Good Bye", she says "Good Night". I always took this as a closure thing. She is just helping putting her brother to bed, and after tucking him in, she is saying good night... I think that's all. I never thought the movie suggested that Marty dies.

I do remember some people thinking that Marty died because she's narrating the film.
