Anyone else really want Nome King's refreshments??

It always looked so appetizing when I was a kid. I imagined the drink was something super sweet and warm like hot chocolate but also caramel and a little butterscotch and super creamy and it would make your insides tingle and spread to your toes and the very ends of your hair. And the cakes would be like eating the luminescence given off by rubies and precious jewels and taste like rock candy and cocaine.

Also I'm hungry if anyone wants to bring me anything. K thanks bye.

LOL. I always liked the cakes, but the taste of rock candy and cocaine never entered my mind.

Yes I agree. I thought in one scene the drink looked green if I'm not mistaken. The cakes looked especially good. Funny the things we remember! :)

I think he said the drink was melted silver.

Yes he says it's melted silver at which point Dorothy wisely puts down the cup.

I think I would rather stay hungry, and politely decline. Did the others eat anything?
