The only thing it didn't touch upon for me was during the 'game' being played out at the Nome King's mountain. Whenever a character had had their three guesses, there was what sounded light a lightning strike. I just wondered if the above theory is the case, is that this was Dr Worley giving multiple shocks to Dorothy on the table? Unsure about it tbh!
