How did they get the Tar Man into the tank?

Has anyone else wondered how the Army/Darrow got the Tar Man into suspended animation in that tank?

Also, why was Tar Man stored with a significant amount of 2-4-5 Trioxin in the tank to kill/revive 2 people and revive a split dog, some butterflies, and a corpse? Maybe an economic move. Save money by using 1 tank to store a body and some of the gas.

LOL! Good answer.

I agree though, clearly they should have gotten rid of the chemical when they stored him away. Since he wasn't chopped up it's a good question as to how they put him in that tank.

...but if they had gotten rid of the trioxin, we wouldn't be discussing this GREAT movie.

That's a good question. I don't think they addressed it. In the 3rd ROTLD movie, they were able to immobilize them and store them for later use. Maybe they had similar technology.

As for the second question, I don't think we're supposed to think too hard about this movie. Lol. Just enjoy it for what it is.

I don't have a cannon answer but I've got ideas for a sort of sequel idea as well as a prequel idea for this series. For the prequel, I have an idea on how I'd end the story with the bodies ending up in the canisters. Just in case I ever decide to write them, I don't want to give out details to everyone publicly.

Not that I think the stories would ever get made into a movie. Itd be more of a fanfic thing. Just if I did, I'd share the stories with everyone here and don't want everyone to know the ending.

So, if you're untested in my take, pm me. As you may notice, I don't post on the site often. Last time was maybe 3-5 years ago. Forgive me if I'm slow to reply.

As Frank says, they cleaned it all up, see. My take is they were probably in a rush and just crammed everything into a barrel to get it out of there. Tar man, Trioxin and all. Since they were taking it all back to the Darrow plant, they were probably not thinking it to be an issue. Typical Army fck up...

As a kid I always thought that they immobilized the zombie and put him in the tank. Then, when the glass broke and air hit the him, Tar Man rapidly decomposed, giving off all kinds of gross gasses - including Trioxin fumes.

So I'm sticking with that.

That's what I had thought for the last few years. Hard to store gas AND a boy in the same tank. To me the Army's idea must've been to store the reanimated corpse. A long time in the tank, plus air suddenly hitting it, caused a leak. Big to cover the WHOLE warehouse, but gota suspend a little belief for horror movies.

Yeah the more I think about it the more it doesn't make sense. How could Tarman stay immobilized in that tank for all those years if the Trioxin was in there with him?

Then again when Frank hits the canister it seems to releases the chemical into the tank so Tarman can wake up. It's all very strange lol.
