as the laser starts heating up the popcorn kernels.. his arms reach back and he grunts.. almost like he's about to have a seizure.. and then he doesn't.

did that have anything to do with him thinking he was about to have some religious experience with God..?

they had him bought into that idea that he had been talking to god the whole time. its a farce, but if you are going to have the story, why not take it to completion.

Yes, that was why he was there. He was told to be there by "Jesus", really Mitch, due to some event that was going to happen and he thought this was it. When he saw what was coming out of the tin, he just loved what was going on. Guess he thought it was cute.
