With all the problems West has with the zombies he creates ...

... I'm surprised he hasn't developed a "de-agent" to put to use when his experiments invariably blow up in his face.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for.

Yeah you'd think he would have some kind of back up plan prepared after so many failed experiments.

You killed Captain Clown, YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN-The Joker on Batman TAS

In the short story he began carrying a revolver to quickly dispatch any unruly 'experiments.' In the film the chaos evolves pretty quickly and doesn't really give him much time to develop such an idea. I think the zombie in the morgue that kills Dean Halsey was the first very active re-animation he had performed up that time and he hadn't really expected much animation (no pun intended) from the headless Doctor Hill.

After what happened with the cat, one would think West would be prepared in case the same thing happened to the buff dead guy.

Good movie.
