I hate to say this but any American POWs in Vietnam are most likely dead. They’d be in their 70’s by now, living in a sweaty, disease-ridden jungle.
It’s well established that at least 1,300 American men went missing between 1963 and 1972 but it was a war zone, bodies get scattered, fall into rivers and so on.
Actually, Vietnam has a very positive business and vacation reputation nowadays. We seem to be getting along just fine. That was a hell of a stupid goddam war. I doubt the Vietnamese are torturing our boys, they are now open for tourism business.
