Rambo is simply badass!
He makes do with a knife or a bow, or even his bare hands when he doesn't have a gun! How can one not think that is awesome?!

I find First Blood very touching. The second one and third one get very bloody for the sake of thrill, I think. They are still trying to show the aftermath of the mess that was the war, especially for soldiers like Rambo, but still, II and III get goofy at times. Sly is just fun to watch in these roles. That's what keeps the Rambo series popular, the fact that looks the part and plays it so well. Rambo is completely bad ass.
