Romance in action films is really simple but effective. They dig each other, you know it, and it's convincing. No contrived, melodramatic crap that comes with your standard drawn out romance.

True - it's over simplified and way too Romeo and Juliet like. Real romance and love takes effort and work and patience, persistence etc. It's strange we idolize this short/steamy idea of it in drama/art etc.
