shareWhy? Because it has synthesizer and similar brass instruments? The notes and medleys are totally different. Jerry's score is sheer musical perfection. Not one score has been like it since due to the mastery and work Jerry put into it.

There are certain similarities in there, but Jerry's Rambo score still has its own style. Goldsmith probably had inspiration and influence (as all composers have) but the key thing is that they do something totally new and original with it. He should've won an Oscar for this movie. It's the best action score of all time by far, and puts every other action movie score to shame.
