My wife and I discovered that we both grew up watching this movie in the mid to late 1980s. We thought it would be an interesting movie to see again, particularly since it's nearly impossible to find anywhere except on somebody's beat-up VHS tape.

So...I purchased a copy. It looks as if it's been copied from a VHS tape onto DVD (no special features, all bare bones, etc.). It took about 15 business days to arrive from Canada...but it got here. And we just watched it.

And it's freakin' crazy. If you remember this movie, you can't begin to imagine how strange it is. To think that we grew up watching this stuff...wow.

Worth owning, worth watching, worth enjoying...one more time.

Thanks for the link! I'm considering buying this movie, but I remember how bad it scared me as a kid! I just watched the trailer on YouTube. It's so funny how the trailer gives you no indication of how creepy and bizarre this movie was. I too grew up in the 80's. When I think back on the fact that my parents let me watch this, I think I may have been better off watching Freddy or Jason instead! This movie gave me nightmares for YEARS. I know it sounds dramatic, but from what I remember, isn't there kidnapping, ghosts and haunted houses in this flick?

The ghosts were friendly, but the hair being used to make brushes, and that guys coat was really scary and freaky. I remember watching this on the disney channel long long ago. I would watch things like this and "The Tomorrow Girl", Storybook Cinema, and Cannon film classics. I loved these so much! They came on Friday or Saturday nights.

Once I did wrong, I heard it ever, Twice I did right, I heard it never!

My wife has told me about this movie since we have been married. Peanut butter soultion--- what the heck? never heard of it until i met here. i have looked all over for it without any luck but now this will totally make her day as a gift for our 5 year anniversary.

it's tempting to get this as well, unfortunitly if it's anything like the dvd copy of thief of baghdad i orded the quality won't be perfect but still worth watching
on the other hand i have a old goodtimes video of this so i may just make my own dvd, either way i definetly need to sit down and watch this one again

Quality is not perfect.....

The audio snaps, crackles and pops. Turning down the treble helped a little but it was still there. I had to crank the stereo fairly high to hear what was going on.

Video is alright. The edges are blurry......DVD quality its not.
Was it worth the $18.94 to see it again? It was!

I can copy my vhs copy onto dvd for anyone who wants to pay shipping and for a blank dvd. Probaly less than 2 bucks or so in the USA.

I ordered the DVD off the web address above from Canada and never received it. It's been over a month so i wouldnt recommned getting it from there, just to let you guys know. I'll update if it ever comes.
