If You Were A Fan Of USA UP ALL NIGHT! Then Please Help!

I just thought that I would let everyone know that I use to watch this movie on USA UP ALL NIGHT on the weekends! Those were the days that they would show some cheesy B movies or cult classics but that is what made this show on the weekends so great though.

There is a petition out to bring this show back on the weekends and I thought that I would let everyone know about it. If you were fan of this show then we could use your help! If you were all fans of B movies, cult classics, horror movies, and a few mainstream movies then please sign the petition and help get this great show back on the air again!

I remember on Friday nights there was Rhonda Shear hosting the show and on Saturday nights there was Gilbert Gottfried. Those were the days! If you know family and friends who were fans of this great show then please let them know about this!

I use to watch that show as well when I was in like junior high or start of high school . I watched it until it went off the air. What got me into watching USA UP ALL NIGHT was where I grew up at the cable company got rid of a station out of St. Louis, Mo.

I grew up about 2 or 2 1/2 hours away from St. Louis in a small city called Decatur, Illinois. See this station called KPLR TV use to show on Saturday nights 2 hours of The Three Stooges. This was without a host talking a little bio about the Stooges it was straight shorts of them.

I watched this until January 1, of 1988. That is when the cable company went with TBS and TNT expanding to other channels to watch. Well when I was flipping channels late at night on the weekends I would see USA UP ALL NIGHT or watch briefly the movies that was on there.

It took me time to adjust to B movies and horror movies as well but I remember seeing Gilbert Gottfried on Saturday nights and Rhonda Shear. I even remember when TNT was still not very big or popular had Monstervision on Saturday nights or the weekends I believe with Billy Bob Thorton. Those were the days.

Right now there is 597 signatures and when I signed my name on the petition I was number 46. So it has grown since I signed it back in August. Thanks for the help! It would be great to see this show back on the air again on the weekends! I and many other fans would appreciate it if you could post this on other places that would grab peoples attention to help bring back a great show!

Thanks again!

I hope Rhonda and Gilbert will come back to host the show. If they decided not to come back then I was thinking about someone who has been in the B movies, cult classics like possibly Connie Woods hosting the show, Brinke Stevens, Linnea Quigley, or even Michelle Bauer to host the show. I even thought about Elvira would be great as well but for a guy I do not know who could be the male host of the show. It would have to be someone who knows their B movies you know.

WOW That is cool that Rhonda owns the rights to USA UP ALL NIGHT! That is great to hear. It is really hard to decide because I got use to before Rhonda Shear was hosting Friday nights there was Caroline Schlitt. I was use to her but she left Hollywood to settle down and get married and that is when Rhonda Shear came to the show and I got use to her until the end of the show.

When I first watched the show I found Gilbert Gottfried a little annoying but once I got use to him he became a great host on Saturday nights! I even thought that they should have special guests appear onto the show where they are in the B movie industry you know. Those are some ideas. I forgot even Veronica Carothers would be a great host to see hosting the show.

Thanks I appreciate all the help that can get! I had some person email me from one of the boards last night and he told me that we should email the network about getting the show back and I told him when I replied that I did email them and so did many other people but the USA Network never responded back to me or them.

He said that we would have better luck in getting The Cartoon Express back on again than USA UP ALL NIGHT! What my plans are is if we get over 100,000 signatures to 200,000 or more then what we do is go to our local newspaper companies where ever we live let them know the story on what we are doing along with them putting into the paper the website that is posted as well on Wikipedia.com and the website that my friend and I created and we will get fans coming out of the wood work to sign the petition you know.

Plus, they will email and complain to the USA Network to bring back this show. I was even thinking about since I live right in between Chicago and Milwaukee those two major cities going to the television station and getting us some publicity you know. Then the USA Network has to crumble to our needs and put the show back on again!

What do you think about that? Do you think it would work? I appreciate your help! Yes I knew that NBC owned the rights to the show but they are idiots getting rid of a show that has been on the USA Network for many years you know.

Rhonda Shear has a fansite already. It is on Yahoo called Rhonda Shear Fanatics or something like that and I am a member of it already and that is how I have spoken to Ms. Shear several times. I have posted the petition there in topics. So you may want to try that Linneafan2-1.

In case you guys want to relive those moments, I found a company on Amazon.com that is selling all the movies that aired those films. Look them up under Up All Nite Films. They just came out so their are only a few titles so far, but I read they were releasing all the rare films that aired on that channel during the 80's.
