This movie is very intertaining and pretty funny. Jim Carey gives a great performance. The music is great and so are the actors. You should see this movie.

i didn't notice the 1st time i saw the movie but when Jim carry's character Mark is having lunch at school you can see the rude t-shirt his friend jamie or russ (can't remember)is wearing. "Freelance Gynecologist".
i saw it for the first time tonight. My brother said its good, so i watched it, and it aint too bad actually... its hard to beleive this was Jim's first major role in a movie.
Also the "once bitten" song is wicked.

Yes this movie is very entertaining and good to watch. I remember when this came out and saw the advertisements in my home town. I wanted to go see this so bad at the age of 13 but my parents never took me though.
I had to rent this eventually at a mom and pop video store just to watch it and then later on caught it on USA Network on a show called USA UP ALL NIGHT on the weekends.
They use to show a lot of B movies, cult classics, horror movies, and a few mainstream movies back in the day on USA UP ALL NIGHT! I would watch this movie every time they aired it on there on the weekends.
They would have a little of everything you know. I loved watching this movie and thought it was not bad for Jim Carey's first major role.
It is a cute movie. It used to show on USA's up all night a lot. I love Sebastian.

What can you expect? It was a B movie and very low budget you know. I love movies like this! That is what I would love to do eventually is create some low budget movies that becomes cult classics one of these days.

Great movie! Great cast, music, and pacing...great dance scene. Truly good 80's from the opening credits...loved the father, he just didn't know what to do and was trying to no overreact to his son's strange behavior...the sidebars with his two friends were funny too. Just a artsy, fun slice of 1985.
