Can't understand the hate
This is easily my favorite Mad Max.

"Fury Road" and then "Road Warrior" are my top 2. The original is probably at the bottom for me.
The reason I don't care for Thunderdome as a whole is because the movie hits a brick wall when it gets to the kids. The film just lost my interest after that point. The plot was no longer as engaging.
The first act with "Bartertown" was actually very good, in my mind; and I really liked the very ending. Turner's Auntie was a great character and helped lift the show up. Unfortunately, while she was MIA from the film, there was nothing else to hold it up; and that was far too long of a stretch through the second act. Hell, even at the end I was actually rooting for her to get Master back.
That said, if the kid plot line had been better done or at least switched out with something else, the movie could had been saved, in my opinion.
