Is Lifeforce a remake of Queen of Blood?

Just curious if unintentionally or by coincidence that Lifeforce is sort of a remake of Queen of Blood?

Both movies involve an outer space female "vampire" found by an astronaut crew from Earth

Kind of starts out that way, but then it goes in a different direction.

It's based on Colin Wilson's novel The Space Vampires but is somewhat simplified and (dare I say it) considerably stripped down.
