What's the point of the movie?

This is such a weird little movie. I remember seeing it a lot when it came out on The Movie Channel (remember that premium channel?) - I remember thinking the acting is pretty stupid etc. but for some reason I liked it, I think that's why the movie is still around. I can't even remember what I liked about it, but it had a strange feeling, I think a lot of us kids had anger at the world and this movie sorta captures that feeling.

What hump?

I think it's maybe a commentary on fighting for what's right? Sticking up for your morals? Staying true to your beliefs? Billie Jean and her brother got picked on and they could have accepted it, but they skipped town and blackmailed Mr. Pyatt.

Agreed - it's also got some early opposition to victim blaming and support of feminism.
