I first saw this movie when I was around 14-15. I recently saw it, and I never realized how sexy/hot Laura Charles was. Oh man is she beautiful.

Same deal with me, man. I saw it when I was 14 or 15 also and man it was weird watching it recently. I was like "she's attractive? Who knew?" But yeah, I looked at her site and it seems she's, in my opinion, the best looking in the movie.

I haven't seen this movie in over 20 years, just finished watching it on Encore Action. She was absolutely stunning back then.

She was Beyonce without the thick body and large breasts. Couldn't sing like Beyonce, either, but like Beyonce, she was the black girl that all the white guys were in love with, even the racist ones! I actually met her about 13 years ago. She's way too fanatical about religion and doesn't wear makeup and wears covering on her head. No sex appeal whatsoever! She was very critical of her old life. Whatever makes her happy, I guess, but she's really out there.
