for Leroy and Laura Charles...Sam Jackson seems kinda old for Sho'nuff, i'd go with Terry Crews. if it matters Lupe has the martial arts background (blackbelt), most rappers can act, so i think he could do it.

Lupe has a Black Belt? Lmao in what ? I highly doubt that. I Don't like Sam Jackson as Shonuff and i definitely don't want Terry crews. I rather have Busta Rhymes, I honestly think he can be a good ShoNuff.

I agree that Sam Jackson is too old but that's probably set in stone. But most rappers can act? I don't know about that. I think a lot of them are good at fronting but any thing that involves actual acting talent? Beyond that Lupe would have to do a lot to prove he was Leroy, but hey that's better than bow wow. Not that I think BW has no acting talent at all but I wouldn't want him in this role, even though it's a big possibilty. Ew. This remake isn't necessary, sequel maybe.

Jessica Lucas would be perfect for Laura Charles! As for Leroy, you may have to find an unknown actor/martial artists. I vote Terry Crews for Sho'Nuff. If not Terry Crews then hire Michael Jai White ( I am sick of rappers getting all the acting roles!)
