So, obviously, there'd be no movie, but what if Jack were just a little more clever and he got rid of the typewriter. Would he have stuck with Teddy? Or dumped her like yesterday's newspaper now that he's a free man?

Was there any love there? Was he even capable of love, or was he always a sociopath?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I don't think there was love there, I think he was perhaps capable of love but the ending proved he was willing to kill her in the same way he killed his wife.
