Ayyyyy! Sit on it! Grease is the word!

Just saw the film again at a 30th anniversary screening at Alamo Drafthouse. It holds up pretty well, and remains one of my favorites. I like to root for this underdog of the F13 series. But...

Wtf do Fonzie and Danny Zucco show up in the film for? Seriously, those two greasers who have car trouble are completely out of place. They have no connection to any other characters. They just time warp in from 1956 and get killed. What's up with that??

I always thought they were 2 gay butthole surfers on their way to a all men 50s themed party.

Actually I saw the documentary narrated by Corey Feldman and one of the dudes who played one of the dudes said the couple of greasers were REALLY gay.

English is not my primary language, but at least I speak more than you.

That's not really surprising

I enjoyed their chemistry. :D These films had hot looking dudes most of the time.

I never thought they were gay...notthattheresanythingwringwiththat.

I actually think the characters from this movie could have been interesting had they been given the depth. Maybe Pete and Vinny were childhood friends who idolized Marlon Brando and James Dean. Or maybe they had just seen Grease too many times. Either way, I always just assumed they thought they were bad @$$ wearing those leather jackets. Also, the line "Those c-word(chicks) ain't gonna wait all night." rules it out for me.

I never really put 2+2 together before, but Vinny getting the road flare shoved in shoved in his mouth? Well, make of that what you will.

I always thought they were going to a Depeche Mode concert.

They were more Lenny and Squiggy than Fonz and Zucco to me. They were out of place though.
