Jason wasn't the killer in part 1 so do people hate it?

this and part 2 are my favourite of the series but some people trash this movie because Jason isn't the killer.

how come part 1 doesn't get trashed for same reason? not fair

exactly i've always placed this in the top 6 in this series. it's so amazingly great. it has everything a friday the 13th film has to have at the highest level of quality. it's friday the 13th on speed because it's so great and so high quality in every way.
