shareAnyone know a list of the songs in the soundtrack? Also where to buy?
shareThe songs on the cassette are:
Breakin' Out
Do You Want It Right Now?
Long As We Believe
Curves
Taste
Showdown
Survive
Fast Forward
Bought it years ago so have no idea if it's still available.
If you go into any CD place, they can usually order it for you. I went into a little place a while ago, and they were able to find, the Bee Gee's version of Sgt. Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band for me. The movie and the soundtrack is very hard to find, but they found both for me.
shareTaylor Dane did a remake if "Do you want it right now" on her first album FWIW.
shareHi!!! Im very interested in Fast Forward 1985 Soundtrack, and maybe you know if this shop, where you bought the Lp´s, have a web. If it have it? can tell me whats the www? THANKS.
shareI'm sorry but they don't have a web site, it was just a little mom and pop shop in a little strip mall by my childhood house. Sorry.
does anyone know the name of the artists of the respective songs
shareSiedah Garret sings Long as we Believe, Do you want it right now?, Taste and Curves; Breakin' Out, Survivor and Fast Forward are played by DECO, and Showdown is played by PULSE. Except for Siedah's vocals, all other vocals in the soundtrack album are different than in the movie.

does anyone know who the artists of the songs are
I do. I've got it on vinyl. Most of the songs are song by a group called Deco, which consisted of Kip Lennon, David Swanson, and Siedah Garrett. (Siedah dueted with Michael Jackson on 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You' and also has some R&B hits of her own from the late 80's/early 90's, most notably 'K.I.S.S.I.N.G.')
Anyway, who sang these.
Breakin' Out - Deco, Kip Lennon on lead
Do You Want it Right Now - Siedah Garrett, solo
Long as We Belive - Siedah Garrett & David Swanson, duet
Curves - Deco, Siedah Garrett on lead
Taste - Deco, Siedah Garrett & David Swanson on lead
Survive - Deco, Kip Lennon on lead
Fast Forward - Deco, Kip Lennon on lead
"Showdown" is the only song not sung by any memebers of Deco. It's performed by a group called Pulse with Adele Bertei on lead. It was produced by John 'Jellybean' Benitez who produced 'Holiday' and 'Crazy for You' for Madonna.
Siedah Garrett also was part of the Brand New Heavies and more recently sang Rain Down Love produced by the Freemasons - i love that song lol
shareThis album was never released in the CD format in the U.S. It received very little distribution since the vocals in the album are different than in the movie. I found the album itself as a promotional LP and even though I love the songs, I was very dissapointed that the vocals are not the same way as they appear in the movie.

Dude, the soundtrack "was" released in CD format back in 2004, dunno if it's a UK or US only release though. Check out the images here:

It has to be a foreign product, that never came out here in the U.S. Maybe it is an illegal copy of the album.

Where can I find those cds that you posted for the fast forward soundtrack?
shareIt's on vinyl, see

I went to the website Reed Records and it is out of Australia and
it shows that it is sold out. Not available.
Darn, eh?
I actually wrote the song "taste" with a buddy of mine David. We were in the 3rd grade at our babysitter's house. He and I made up some lyrics and wrote them down. I didn't know this but his dad was a producer and he gave those lyrics to his dad. Next think I know I'm watching the movie on cable and I hear the song. He later told me his dad took credit for the song. His dad name is David Swanson.
