It's called "It's For You" by Pat Metheny from the album "As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls." A truly uplifting piece of music.

well i'll be!..so i wasn't the only one intrigued by the music from the wedding reception..i have been searching since i saw the movie in 1987..i momentarily given up after extensive Pat Metheny research..i even bought Pat's albums circa 1985..apparently i missed the vital one...

There's a soundtrack listing of virtually every movie on IMDB - from the main page, scroll down the left navigation bar until you hit the SOUNDTRACK link.

I belive this is all but one song and one artist has been substituted. You have to buy it song for song from iTunes, iMixs, but it is save for the one song a complete soundtrack. This link should get you there if you have iTunes

Another option is to SEARCH:"iMix", Then in the iMix "search for" SEARCH:"Fandango Soundtrack"

You should be able to find it in that selection of albums.

I was totally jazzed to find this, I have been looking for the soundtrack since the movie came out.
