I saw the first half or so of this movie today for the first time. It seems like a halfway decent kids movie (I'm 20 so didn't dig it so much). Anyhow I'm a big River Phoenix fan so I decided to watch but I ended up falling asleep halfway through. I'm just wondering, why the hell didn't these kids use the forcefield to carry that amusement park ride chair thingy home from the junkyard? The one kid was like a genius but didn't think of that, friggin idiot.

Maybe he thought that the sight of some kids walking slowly through a suburban neighbourhood with a huge glowing floating ball beside them, might seem a little odd. Whereas the sight of some kids pushing a broken wurlitzer wouldn't.
