I was very excited to discover that Explorers is being shown on Sunday Dec 31st at 4.05pm on Channel 4!
I haven't seen this film since I was a child in the 80's, but always remember loving it.
I will definitely be tuning in, especially as my husband can't seem to remember the film.
Just finished watching it. I'd been trying to remember this film for years. I didn't catch the beginning but all I could ever remember from this film was someone watching Space Invaders on TV and the fact that there was some kids who found or had a spaceship in their neighbourhood. But could never remember anything really specific and thought I'd never see it again. But when I caught this on today it totally clicked and I had such a nostalgia trip. This film like a few other inspiring classics from the 80s has a certain feel about it. It was great seeing it again.
Oh and that progrssive theme music and overall soundtrack is so fantastic.
