Transformers (the movie) credits...

I just watched the new Transformers movie and in the credits, they list three clips that they used. Eldorado, Star Trek and Explorers! Although I don't remember seeing any of the clips in the movie. What Explorers' clip did they "borrow"? Thanks! -Joe

I too am curious, because when Bumblebee was trying to explain to Sam about where he was from, I swore I recognized an audio sample from "Explorers," but I brushed it off because a lot of lines from "Explorers" are already from other movies. Of course, when the credits hit, I blurted out "I KNEW IT!"

Problem is, now I need to pay to see it again to find out what that line was... hmmm. Is it worth it?

I'll wait for the DVD.

I haven't seen this yet but I'll keep an eye and ear out for anything related to "Explorers" and update if I recognize anything.

I believe it could be when Bumblebee changes into a modern Camaro in the tunnel. He opens the door and says 'get in'. Of course I have been known to be wrong on one or two occasions.
If I am right, then this in itself is a line that Explorers 'borrowed' from the original War of the Worlds.

I did see the Transformers again ater my last post, and listened out for the line. It wasn't the War of the Worlds one that I thought, but unfortunately I have since forgotten what it was. I have a sneaking suspicion it was one of Robert Picardo's lines as Wak. When I get the DVD I will have to check again.

It's funny... I actually thought the whole scene with Bumblebee using soundclips from our TV/movies was influenced by the end of Explorers when the alien was doing the same kind of thing.
