What do you guys think of when someone says Elephantitis?

I'm thinking Joe Dante or the writer put that in intentionally and then defined it loosely so that kids would then use it to tease each other not really knowing it's associated with genital enlargment?

It's probably because it isn't associated with genital enlargement only that is just the most common reference

I think someone should have caught the mistake: the disease is called elephantiasis, not elephantitis...

Back in those days when I was 3 in 1985, I thought Elephantitis had something to do with elephants.
